Ivi opens early access to new movies

The ivi online cinema announces the early wake up of studio rental movies in the subscription.

Since October 2016, the premiere of world movie distribution from various major studios and more than 150 films, including “The Lion King”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Peter Pan”, “Mickey Mouse”, conquered the planet “Pirates of the Caribbean”, will appear in the ivi online movie subscription , "Maleficent" and many others.
For the first time, the “digital window” between film distribution and the release of new items from a major studio in an online cinema subscription will be reduced from 19-21 to six months. Such a reduction will allow our users to enjoy legal films and home premieres in the shortest window in the ivi + subscription after the end of their rental in theaters.
“We continue to work actively with all world studios. This allows us to launch movie news in unprecedentedly short digital windows in the subscription. Now we can provide ivi + users with the earliest access to the news and the golden collection of studio cinema in the subscription, as well as increase the interest of all viewers in legal consumption of content, ”says Sofya Kvashilava, ivi online movie content director.
The ivi + catalog is planned to be expanded monthly, adding more than 10 movie rental masterpieces to subscription access.
