The blanket comes out soft, warm and cozy - it can be used both as a plaid, and as a bedspread, and as a litter for a picnic.

The blanket is about 100x160 cm in size or slightly larger. Simple cotton fabrics are good for him. Thin batting was used as a heater here - you can take sheet sintepon, for example, or bulk fleece.

Step 1

Wash, dry and iron the fabric before work.

Cut out from 5 different flaps 5 stripes 21x110 cm.

From the main fabric, cut the part 80x110 cm.

Also, cut a piece of 110x170 cm from the main fabric for the underside of the blanket.

Step 2

Chip off the strips and sew as shown in the photo. Iron allowances.

Step 3

Sew parts from strips to a large part, iron allowances.

Step 4

Lay batting on a work surface.Place the part for the underside of the blanket face up on top. Then - the detail of the upper side with the wrong side up. Chip all layers with pins around the perimeter and in several more places.

Step 5

Sew all layers around the perimeter, leaving a hole for turning out. Trim allowances and cut corners. Turn out the blanket. Sew the hole manually with a blind stitch or on the machine.

Step 6

Using a floss and a large needle, fasten the layers of the blanket over the entire surface, before putting chalk marks. Done.
