In a climate with long and cold, snowy and windy winters, there is nothing left to do but to warm yourself in every possible way.

And it’s not surprising that in almost every wardrobe there is a warm jacket or coat with down padding.
Many remember the time when the first down jackets appeared in our country. On the one hand, it was very pleasant to change a heavy cygeik fur coat or an unbendable sheepskin coat for a light and comfortable coat, but it was unpleasant to realize that untidy fluffs were climbing and climbing in front of all of his entrails. In addition, after a very short wear, seams seamed on it, or it was not clear where the neat rounded holes appeared on a completely “flat” place ...
Frankly, I met with down jackets even earlier, as a result of close communication with the inhabitants of Germany, who practically didn’t get out of their dank and windy winter from quilted jackets and coats (not necessarily down jackets), and many of them looked very stylish, attractive and even sexually. Moreover, the higher the mountains (where there are skis and lifts), the colors of coats and coats become brighter and brighter. In the wardrobe of every German from the areas of skiing back in Soviet times there was at least a couple of down jackets. Frankly, I did not dare to buy a down jacket, because I didn’t know then about its merits.
Now much has changed, including the quality of down jackets.Inveterate fashionistas willingly wear them, moreover with sneakers! And not only young girls, but women of all ages - and not just black or gray. Thanks to this, by the way, our streets began to look more elegant. Not so long ago appeared and immediately became popular down jackets with prints sewn from multi-colored fabrics or trimmed with dyed fur. Down jackets are carried to the office and go to official receptions in them - the main thing is that a skirt or jacket floors should not peek out from under them. And fashionable coats and jackets insulated with fluff now, in addition to the usual Moncler and Ermanno Scervino, are offered by other well-known brands. Silhouettes and pattern stitches have become much more diverse. Of course, new ideas immediately appeared, how and with what "fluff" to wear. For instance, down vests put on over a coat, and claim that it is very practical and convenient! You can also wear a fur vest made of mink or fox over a down coat to emphasize your status.

Not so long ago I discovered the "thin" down jackets. They are practically weightless, they can be rolled up into a small roll and put in a cosmetic bag. And how pleasant it is to wear them - almost the feeling of summer appears because the heavy coat does not hang on the shoulders.
The most fashionable this season - parks with fur trim and downy coats or jackets with short sleeves. And if the former are super-convenient for the conditions of our middle zone, then I would strongly refuse the latter, or at least replace them with a quilted jacket and thin artificial insulation.
