Even children today know that their teeth need careful care, and then you can smile without any hesitation!

Doctors warn: human health begins with a good condition of the teeth and gums. If the oral cavity is not in order, more often there are problems with the heart, metabolism and other ailments. Therefore, you must constantly monitor your teeth from a very young age.
FROM CHILDHOOD
Not only adults have problems with their teeth, but also young children. According to statistics, about 50% of children 6-10 years old have caries, with permanent teeth. By adolescence, the vast majority of teenagers already have signs of gum inflammation in the form of bleeding, as well as tartar.
Tip: the sooner you start caries prevention, the better. As soon as your baby’s first tooth erupts, clean it from plaque with a gauze swab or a special brush for babies in the form of a fingertip. Dentists recommend starting the use of pediatric fluoride-containing toothpaste at the same time, especially in regions where the concentration of fluoride in water is low. Of course, at first the parents themselves brush their child’s teeth, and you need a little paste — not more than a pea. Make sure that the baby swallows the paste, and after cleaning, carefully remove its residues from the oral cavity. Gradually, the child will learn to do this independently, but up to 6-7 years, be sure to control the quality of brushing.
DOLL COLONISTS!
How does caries develop? A person’s oral cavity is populated by many different bacteria - both beneficial and harmful. Feeding on food debris adhering to enamel, here they feel quite at ease. In this nutrient medium, bacteria multiply so quickly that they form whole microbial colonies - a white coating on the surface of the teeth that can be seen even with the naked eye. If this plaque is not removed, it becomes hard as a stone - you can get rid of it only at the dentist. Harmful bacteria are the main cause of tooth decay and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity. Indeed, in the process of their life a large amount of aggressive substances is released, before which even strong tooth enamel is powerless.
Tip: be sure to brush your teeth 2 times a day - morning and evening before bedtime. Many people think that brushing your teeth before breakfast is useless. But during the night, bacteria also accumulate on them, so you can brush your teeth before eating, and then use a rinse aid. You should not grab a brush after each snack: from frequent exposure, the enamel is erased, and prerequisites for the development of caries are created. Now there are special complex pastes that protect the oral cavity for 12 hours even after eating, and in fact - from one cleaning to another!
CASE IN THE POCKET
All the same bacteria living in the oral cavity can lead to the development of gingivitis. Its first signs are bleeding and soreness of the gums. It is important not to miss this point: gingivitis is very treatable in the early stages. If the infection penetrates deep into the gums, then we will talk about periodontitis - and this is a serious enough disease that leads to tooth loss. As the inflammatory process develops, the gum moves away from the tooth neck, forming periodontal pockets. Over time, plaque and tartar accumulating here infect periodontium - the tissues that hold the tooth in the hole. As a result, the tooth loosens and falls out. Therefore, if the gums bleed, swell, redden, tooth mobility appears, bad breath - immediately to the dentist! In addition to tooth loss, you risk getting a focus of chronic infection in the mouth, which undermines the body's defenses and can cause complications.
Tip: how to prevent gum disease? Once an experiment was performed: the toothpaste and brush were taken from the subjects. Already on the second day, everyone showed signs of gingivitis. However, after thorough brushing, everything went away. Draw conclusions!
TEETH DIET
First of all, high calcium dairy products should be in your diet. Teach children to eat cottage cheese - this is an excellent "building material" for growing teeth. Hard foods that are high in cellulose (fruits, vegetables) help cleanse your teeth and oral tissues. When you consume foods rich in sugar and starch, bacteria in plaque produce aggressive acids that affect your teeth for at least 20 minutes or more after eating.
Tip: so that tooth enamel does not deteriorate, it is necessary to limit the number of snacks to “fast carbohydrates” (fast food, sweets, buns, cookies) and the consumption of sweet carbonated drinks between main meals. If you need a snack, give preference to foods such as cheese, raw vegetables, yogurt without added sugar and fruits.
When cleaning teeth, extra effort is not needed - on the contrary, this can lead to damage to the enamel and "settling" of the gums.
The BRUSH cleans the surfaces of the teeth well: the external and internal ones with light sweeping movements from the edge of the gum to the top of the tooth, and the chewing ones with circular movements.
FLOSS (dental floss) removes plaque from the interdental spaces and from the gum line.
LIQUID RINSER for the oral cavity (it is recommended to use 2 times a day) allows you to get to the bacteria in the most inaccessible places.
