Unsplash Many people already know what Joint Sewing is without explanation - to put it simply, this is a small but friendly event, in which lovers of sewing are inspired by a given topic and gradually sew selected products, laying out photos of stages and, of course, the finished thing.
For a long time we chose the topic for our Joint sewing and, finally, decided not to resist the call of the heart. "My perfect fall dress" - it’s exactly what you have long dreamed of, one that you don’t want to shoot! We invite you, dear needlewomen, to take part in an exciting sewing journey with us, in the final of which we, as the whole BurdaStyle.ru team, will choose five winners!
As a prize, the lucky ones will receive ten electronic patterns from Burda, a corporate calendar for 2020, as well as our wonderful notebook for creative ideas!
Burda Collaboration Sewing Rules
pixabay 1. To participate, you must be registered on the social network Instagram and be subscribed to the official Burda @burdastylerussia account.
2. Joint sewing will take place from October 7 to November 4 and will consist of four stages.A report for each stage must be published during the entire period of the stage! Failure to meet the deadlines, unfortunately, deprives you of the opportunity to become a winner, although you can nevertheless continue to participate in Joint Sewing.
The first stage: October 7-13
Participants should publish a preparation report in their accounts: the selected pattern, fabric and necessary materials, as well as a short story about why they chose this particular model.
Be careful, you can join the joint tailoring before the start of the second stage!
Second stage: October 14–20
Participants publish intermediate photos and stories of how much progress has been made in sewing.
The third stage: October 21–27
As in the Second stage, participants must report on their success.
The fourth stage, the final: October 28-November 3
Participants publish photos of finished products. The more visual and successful your photographs are, the more interesting the story about your impressions, the better! Works published after November 3 will not be considered!
3. All posts of participants must must be tagged with the hashtag #burda_sharing! This is necessary so that we and other participants can find your publications!
4. You can sew on any Burda pattern, from magazines or from our electronic catalog.
5. Everyone can take part in Joint Sewing, regardless of the country of residence, however, unfortunately, we can deliver the calendar and notepad only in Russia, so winners from other countries will receive 10 electronic patterns from Burda as a prize.
6.In the final, the editors of Burda will choose the five most striking works, the authors of which will receive any 10 electronic patterns to choose from as a gift, a calendar and a notebook for creative ideas, and we will publish the winners' works on our Instagram! The winners will be announced on November 7 on the website and in our social networks.
