A simple creative idea - and before us is a new decor item: multi-colored or plain, a pom-pom rug will add charm and comfort to any home.
Today there are only two pompons, and tomorrow three - and so the mat will grow every day!
You will need:
✽ yarn for knitting beige, bright pink and orange (for a rug with a diameter of approx. 70 cm, 3 kg of yarn is required);
✽ device for the manufacture of pompons 2 in 1; scissors;
✽ chalk pencil;
✽ large canvas (stramin) of beige color;
✽ hook for raising loops;
✽ compass;
✽ yarn for embroidery;
✽ centimeter tape;
✽ paper
How to make a pompom: ways and tips
Step 1
Using a compass, prepare a template with a diameter of approx. 70 cm, draw the contours on the canvas with a chalk pencil and cut out the basis for the rug.
Step 2
Open the device for making pompons and evenly wrap it with knitting yarn until one half is filled (do not wrap the handle and lock).
Cut and fasten the thread.
Step 3
Similarly wrap the other half of the device.

Step 4
Close the device and, holding it firmly, cut the yarn on both halves between the two washers.
Step 5
Fold the strong thread in half, lay it in the gap, wrap the cord and tie it firmly.
Step 6
On the pompom over the entire surface, trim the excess and align.
Step 7
Using a hook for raising loops, attach one pompom to the canvas.
Tie the threads tightly on the back, cut the ends.
