If before the holidays stock up on a roll of ordinary kraft paper (it can be bought at art or handicraft stores quite inexpensively), then the issue of gift wrapping will be resolved! And to make wrapped gifts look especially cute and sincere, paper can be decorated. This collection contains various ideas for decorating wrapping paper and packaging from it.

1. Paper painted with potato stamps

One of the easiest ways to decorate paper is to apply stamps to it. And one of the easiest ways to make stamps with your own hands is to cut them from potato tubers! You will need several potatoes, a knife, paint, a foam pad with a stand into which the stamp will be immersed, and the paper itself. Cut each tuber in half and cut out the dies on the flat side of the shape you need. Place the paint on a small pillow, immerse stamps into it and make drawings to your taste.

2. Paper painted with foam stamps on a sticky roller

In this way, you can decorate the paper with strips of repeating patterns, for example, of Christmas trees. The main role here is played by a sticky roller, which is usually used to clean clothes from wool and dust. You also need a foamiran, scissors or a breadboard knife, a wooden stick, a rope, a ink pad and paint, plus the paper itself.

Cut the fir trees from the foam, make dots on them with the end of the stick, stick it on the roller (since the roller is sticky, no glue is needed) and add a rope that will symbolize snowdrifts and hills. Place paint on the pad. Roll the roller over the pad so that it is completely covered in paint, and then transfer the drawing onto the paper with it.

By sticking smaller Christmas trees on the lid of a plastic bottle, you can get a stamp for decoration, for example, a postcard or an envelope.

3. Dotted paper

5. Paper decorated with lines of text

This idea only seems difficult to implement. But in fact, it is not difficult to realize it, and it is not at all necessary to possess the talent of a calligrapher. It is good that the lines - for example, with New Year's greetings and wishes - are even. To do this, it is better to draw paper before work on a ruler with a pencil. The second component of success is a felt-tip pen or a liner that writes well. Do not try to print letters - write as you usually write, filling lines the entire surface of the paper: it will turn out beautifully. Then erase the markup with an eraser.
