Stitching the corners of the collar, cuffs, curly neckline requires skill. But there is one trick with which to stitch any corner of the product is not difficult.

For this you need a small piece of paper.

This can be a white sheet of mini-format for notes (non-adhesive sticker) or the most ordinary notebook sheet.

Caution, sharp corners: how to turn a corner with a regular thread

Step 1

Sweep the part with the corner.

Step 2

Begin stitching the part on the front of the product.

Step 3

Before reaching the corner of 2-3 cm, stop the machine. The needle should remain in the tissue.

Step 4

Take a small piece of paper and place it under the entire surface of the corner to be trimmed, as shown in the photo.

Step 5

Lower the foot and continue sewing.

When reaching the corner, raise the foot (the needle remains in the fabric!) And turn the part.

Lower the foot and finish stitching.

Step 6

Carefully remove the paper and then the binder.

Step 7

Iron the part along the stitching line.

Thanks to such a simple trick, you can easily stitch, and your machine will certainly not be able to “chew” a corner of the part into the hole in the needle plate.
