It is best to sew covers for cutlery from a fabric that is resistant to repeated washing, this will allow them to be used for a long time.
You will need:

Part size - 66 x 12 cm.
The length of the lower part is 18 cm, the middle part is 25 cm, the upper part is 23 cm. Seam allowances are 1 cm.
The finished product is 10 cm wide.
Recommended fabrics: cotton and linen.
Step 1
From both fabrics, cut out the outer and inner parts of the cover with allowances for seams 1 cm wide along the upper and side sections. There are no allowances for the lower cuts of parts.
Step 2
Fold both parts with their faces to each other and grind the side and upper sections at a distance of 1 cm. Cut the seam allowances at the corners diagonally.
Step 3
Unscrew the blank of the cover, pin the oblique inlay along the lower cut, tucking its slices.
Step 4
To sew a slanting inlay to the edge, having connected the ends.
Step 5
Unscrew the lower part of the workpiece upwards by 18 cm and pin it.

Stitch the cover along the contour, connecting the sides.
